GREETINGS!
My name is Gabrielle, Southampton-based calligrapher and engraver, and the founder of Dunwell Calligraphy. Dunwell is my family name, and a punny testament to the work I do!
As a child, I always loved pens, and would stare in awe at the stationery aisle in every store I visited. That love of pens led me to embark on my calligraphy journey in October 2018, adding nibs and ink to my already massive pen collection! Calligraphy for me represents a creative outlet, where I can set aside the spreadsheets and progress reports of my day job, for the soothing joy of putting nib to paper.
PREVIOUS CLIENTS
In January 2020, I got my first portable drill and picked up hand engraving, and have expanded my calligraphy talents from paper to glass, ceramic, metal, and a variety of other surfaces.
My goal is to work with you to bring your creative projects to life, using the art of the written word to create the keepsakes you will treasure for a lifetime.
